St. Matthews is a co-educational school dedicated to teaching eight single mainstream classes (Junior infants to sixth class). The school’s main focus is to provide outstanding, happy and safe learning environment to each and every child.

They had an existing website, but it had been built a number of years previously and it had most certainly outlived its purpose.

For the new site, there was three main features that they were particularly looking for.

1. They wanted their site to be visually appealing. 

We did this through a much greater use of imagery on the site and hosted galleries that could easily be uploaded by the staff at the school and use of a warm colour palette to flow throughout the site.

2. Their old site was very difficult to update from the school’s side. 

Working off the WordPress platform, we created an easy to use content management system designed to suit the school’s needs. This allows teachers to create news articles and local admin in the school to easily manage, edit and add all content on the site.

3. They were hoping for a site that would be much easier to navigate and to include integrated application forms directly from the webpage.

Through careful planning and design we have created a highly structured site that allows the visitor to the site an enjoyable experience and that they can always find exactly what they are looking for at just the click of a mouse. We also custom built some forms for the site including a pre-enrollment application form, that allows for conditional logic and various type of file uploads, making potential new parents able to safely and securely submit their child’s application from the comfort of their own computer. each submission then automatically arrives in the secretaries inbox nicely formatted for ease of reading and printing off with the relevant attachments included.

It also goes without saying, that we developed the site so that it is fully responsive, optimised to be visited from mobile or table, Pc or Mac all users can enjoy the same great browsing experience.
